Katy Perry has beaten off stiff competition from 2014 MTV EMA host Nicki Minaj to win this year’s essence-sponsored Best Look award – congratulations, K-Pez!

[related] Nominated alongside Nicki, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora and Taylor Swift, no doubt Katy’s fierce video looks and Moschino moments helped her to triumph as this year’s most stylish popstar.

While Katy couldn’t attend the MTV EMA, she did send a video link to thank her Katycats and all the people who keep her looking fabulous.
