Ed Sheeran is the latest celeb to give his opinion on the whole Nicki Minaj Vs. Taylor Swift beef, and it’s safe to say, he’s definitely Team Tay. No surprises there then…

The pair clashed earlier this week after Minaj tweeted her upset that ‘Anaconda’ had missed out on a nod at the '2015 MTV VMAs' for Video of the Year, with T-Swizzle accusing her of ‘pitting women against each other’.

Swift’s rumoured rival Katy Perry then waded in on the whole thing, with the ‘Dark Horse’ hitmaker (obviously) appearing to back Her Minajesty.

In wake of K-Pez’s tweet, her pal Ed has proved he’s a solid member of Team Tay by defending the ‘Blank Space’ babe against Nicki, telling The Daily Telegraph: “I think everyone knows that Taylor has done nothing wrong in that situation.

“She didn’t nominate herself for the awards. It’s not her fault, she just made some good videos and people think they’re good.”

He concluded: “And I think the Minaj point is a bit redundant, her point is that you have to be skinny and white to get a video of the year nomination butBeyoncé’s '7/11' is in there and that is celebrating the female figure in every form.”

The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer went on to address his own ‘beef’ with Bruno Mars, stating: “I’ve been wanting to do that for ages with someone but there isn’t any one that I know that I can not have to text them to tell them that this is actually a joke.

“When I saw Bruno do that, I knew he was joking and I know if I say anything I won’t have to text him and ask him if he’s offended by it with the short jokes.”
