The Live Action Dumbo Trailer Is Finally Here And Our Hearts Are Already Broken
Just incase you needed an excuse to start loudly sobbing at work, Disney have dropped the first full-length trailer for the upcoming adaption of Dumbo and it’s hit us right in the feels.
Tim Burton has adapted the animation into a star-studded movie featuring Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell, and Eva Green, and it looks like we’ll once again spend a solid year of our lives feeling traumatised.
From what we can tell, Colin plays a former circus star who’s hired to oversee the baby elephant, while his children are the first ones to witness him flying.
The trailer also toys with our emotions by featuring a rendition of the song Dumbo’s mother sang to him as they were separated.
Fans already have a lot of feelings about the adaption, with some pointing out that they’re too emotionally fragile to even think about buying tickets with others claiming that this could be the best live-adaption in Disney history.
“You know what, DUMBO? LIFE IS SAD ENOUGH WITHOUT ME CRYING ABOUT THE GODDAMN SEPARATION SCENE JESUS CHRIST,” one person said.
Another added: “When dumbo had that clown make up on his poor little elephant face, i am ready to FIGHT,” as a third said: “Aww jeez they made a real #dumbo film! Won't be watching that, the cartoon was bad enough, I'll be crying for days."
We all have plenty of time to psyche ourselves up for heartbreak, with the movie hitting cinemas on March 29th, 2019.
