Demi Lovato's Ex Wilmer Valderrama Visits Her In Hospital Following Her Suspected Overdose

The singer admitted relapsing last month with her song 'Sober'.

Demi Lovato's ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama is reported to have visited the star in hospital after her suspected drug overdose.

The 38-year-old was spotted visiting Cedars-Sinai medical Centre in Hollywood, which is where Demi was reportedly taken to by ambulance after being found unconscious on Tuesday morning.

A source told People that Wilmer is staying overnight at the hospital after arriving late on Wednesday.

"He knew she was going through a tough time buthe wasn’t prepared for this," an unnamed source told the publication on Tuesday.

They added: "He saw her through so many ups and downs and was her rock through some of her darkest moments. To see her back in such a sad and vulnerable place is heartbreaking for him."

Ariana Grande's mum, Joan Grande, shared a heartfelt message detailing how the 'Cool For The Summer' singer helped them through addiction.

Joan thanked Demi for the support she showed her son, Celebrity Big Brother star Frankie Grande, when he was battling addictions to drugs and alcohol.

In the lengthy message, she urged people to be kind and celebrate one another's achievements.

Joe Jonas, Lili Reinhart and Ariana Grande are amongst those who have sent Demi their well-wishes following the news of her apparent overdose.

Demi's Camp Rock castmate, Joe, asked fans to pray for his ex-girlfriend in a tweet, writing: "Like all of you I am thinking of @DDLovato right now. She needs our prayers and support. We all know how strong you are Demi. #prayfordemi."

His former Jonas Brothers bandmate and real-life bro Nick Jonas added: "Reeling at the news about Demi... All of us love her and need to pray for her to get well. She is a fighter. #prayfordemi."

Riverdale actressLili Reinhart, who has previously spoken out about viewing Demi as a role model, is also keeping the 'Skyscraper' singer in her prayers.

"Praying for @ddlovato and her health. When I was 14, she was an idol to me in how she spoke so openly about mental health. And now she continues to inspire thousands of young men and women with her body positivity messages. Addiction and mental illness doesn’t discriminate," she wrote.

Ariana Grande also expressed her love for the singer, tweeting: "i love u @ddlovato."

According to TMZ, The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a medical emergency at the singer's home in Hollywood Hillson Tuesday morning.

It's reported that a 25-year-old woman was found unresponsive and treated at the scene with an anti-overdose drug named Naloxine(Narcan).

On Tuesday evening, Demi's rep confirmed that she is in a stable condition and expressed that not all of the information being reported is correct.

In a statement to People, they said: "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support."

"Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now," they added.

TMZ initially reported that Demi suffered from a heroin overdose, but a source has since claimed that this is not the case.
