The event we’ve been waiting for all year arrived last night, and it was everything we hoped it would be and then some.

Ariana Grande’s big day finally came around, and so Ari-chella was born. Becoming the youngest headliner to ever perform at the festival (and only the fourth female to headline too), Grande brought out all the stops for a night of friends, fun, and some seriously insane whistle tones.

The singer had arches set up of 7 rings, a reference to one of her recent hugely successful singles from her ‘thank u, next’ album. BRB just thinking about all the perfect Insta pics we could take under those arches if we were there…

Her merch? Just bought it…

The singer brought out limited edition Coachella merch at the festival, mainly focusing around her song ‘NASA’, with spaceships and rockets featuring on the variety of clothing. Another read ‘I’ma need space,’ which is a lyric from the song. Anyone around to pick us up the whole line and ship over? Thank u, next.

Play Ari’s whistle tones on repeat for the rest of our lives

Those whistle tones kill us every damn time... but LIVE? The singer came for the Coachella’s crowds NECKS with her live vocals during God is a woman. Honestly, can anyone else hit notes like that LIVE? We’ll wait.

Queen of iconic collabs? The singer brought out the noughties stars to sing her #1 single ‘break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored’ as well as their 3x MTV VMA nominated hit ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’. We're still shaking.

Grande invited her bestie on stage to perform their single ‘Bang Bang’ together, and it didn’t exactly go to plan. Through no fault of their own, the two were unable to hear the backing track and unfortunately were signing off time. Oh well, it happens to the best of us...

Somebody hold us. Eilish and Bieber met for the first time and it was everything. After staring at each other for a cute but uncomfortably long period of time, the two embraced in a hug, and we might be crying. Bieber then took to Instagram to post that Eilish has a “long and bright future ahead of you [her].”

P Diddy and Mase came out for a tribute performance

The singer also invited friends P Diddy and Mase out to rap ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ with her, and of course a few sound problems occured.The trio prevailed and gave the audience an iconic performance together, including a tribute to Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, B.I.G. and more late rappers.

The LGBTQ+ flag, of course

We love a supportive and caring ally. With her headline performance at Manchester pride fast approaching, the singer, as she always has throughout her career, shone a spotlight on the LGBTQ+ community during her set with a pride flag visual.
