Cheryl: 'It’s A Good Time To Be Woman In Your 30s'
Cheryl has revealed she's happier in her own skin than ever before.
It's been a huge year for Chezza. The star has firmly reinstated her place on the X Factor judging panel and following the surprise announcement of her marriage to beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez Versini, the 31-year old seems more positive than ever.
[related]Cheryl is now gearing up to the release of her fourth solo album Only Human next month, with the gorgeous Geordie exclusively telling MTV News: "I’m at that point in my life and my career where I just love what I do.
"It's not about chart positions anymore, it's not about any of that. It's just about putting out music that you believe in and that you love and sending out a message that you want to send out."
When asked about her new positive attitude and the influence her marriage has had on her life, the Crazy Stupid Love singer replied: "It’s a good time being a woman in your 30s. I think you fit in your own skin.
"I needed to take some time out and have some reality and normality in my life, without this nonsense that goes with being a pop star and I felt re-inspired again."
Cheryl is due to release new single I Don't Care on November 2, with a performance on the X Factor this Sunday bound to blast the singer into the headlines.
Speaking of the track - which is certainly Cheryl's 'two fingers up to the world' moment - Mrs. Fernandez-Versini went onto explain that she wasinitiallyworried the carefree nature of the song could give out the wrong message.
Cheryl explained: "It was potentially going to be the first trackbut I didn’t want to open it with it because of how it can be taken.
"I mean, of course I care about things - you know people and stuff - but it was more I didn’t want to open the album with that message."
Cheryl's new album Only Human is due for release on November 10.
