Charlie Puth Attempts Slanguage and It is Hilarious
'WATCH CHARLIE'S SLANGUAGE VIDEO HERE!'
Charlie Puth - singer, songwriter and British slang professor. Yes. That's right. Charlie is now an expert in all things British.
The 'Attention' hitmaker dropped by MTV UK recently to play Slanguage - our new game in which some of our favourite celebrities from across the pond and elsewhere try their best to guess the meaning of some different UK slang words.
The US star starts off the game by attempting an English accent, although we're not sure fromwhich region - sorry Charlie we still love you - before settling into his New Jersey drawl and trying to work out the definitions of everything.
'Welsh Rarebit', 'Peng Ting' and 'Fanny Around' all feature in Charlie's test of British colloquialisms both old and new.
And he doesn't fairtoo badly!
He may not know what 'Mortal' or 'Swill' mean but he quickly works out what 'Cockwomble' and 'Chunder' are.
He even uses 'Chunder' in its correct context: "I walked out of Tape and I just chundered all over the security guard." Amazing. That being said we hope that Charlie doesn't spend too much time chunderingover security guards.
However, he thinks that 'Spend a Penny' isa substitute for 'live a little' when it actually means to pee.
So maybe it's not quite timeto quit the day job just yet - Charlie!
Find out what else he had to decipher in the video above!
