Channing Tatum won’t be stripping any time soon now that he’s lost his six-pack physique

The Magic Mike star insists that he’s happy with his body, even if it is less toned, as it means he has more time to spend with his family.

When asked when he would be stripping off again, the 33-year-old actor told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres: "You definitely don't want that right now.

"Right now - what me and my wife like to call it, I am very 'fappy.' I'm very fat and happy right now ... I've been working for two straight years, and now it's some really needed downtime."

The actor, who was voted the Sexiest Man Alive in 2012, said he loved being able to spend time with his eight-month-old daughter, Everly.

He said: "Ah, man. She's eight months old now. She's saying 'Da, da, da, da, da.' I don't think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn't matter."

And it seems the tot is already developing strong tastes in music.

He added "She actually has better taste in music than I think I do, because she will only fall asleep to really good music. She might be conceited, I'm not sure but ... Prince's The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, she loves falling asleep to that."

While fans of the Hollywood hunk may be disappointed by his new-found modesty, luckily Channing’s current role doesn’t require him to look super toned. The actor is currently recording vocals for a new animated film, The Book of Life.
