Britney Spears has announced that she'll be continuing her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood for another two years.

The 32-year-old star broke the news herself during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, with interviewer Richard Arnold asking her about it.

She responded: "Yes, yes. I'm very excited."

The news means that Britters' Piece Of Me shows will now run into 2017 - since her existing contract extended to late 2015.

And the star was enthusiastic about the experience so far, saying: "The way I used to travel all around the world and do a different show every night, I'm like, 'How did I do it?!'

"Promotion is a different story, and going to a different city every day, like what I'm doing now, it's really hard. But being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to, the consistency of that is really grounding and really cool."

Britney recently confirmed that she's already working on her next studio album.
