People Are Now Blending Their Make-Up Using Hard Boiled Eggs
If you refuse to invest in a beauty blender when your hands do a fairly okay-ish job of applying make-up, you'lll be thrilled to hear that a cheaper, and no-less practical subsistute is sitting in your fridge at this very second.
The humble egg,of allingredients, has been given a new lease of life after beauty bloggerNadi (a.k.a., PopLuxe)noticed that the spherical shape is pretty similiar to those pointed sponges that are all the rage at the moment.
To recreate the hack, make sure youregg is hardboiled(with the shell peeled off, obviously) and then just dip into whatever product you're using. Even if the egg starts to crumble away mid-application,you've at least got a snackto console yourself with.
Either way, it's bound to a better approach than shoving your beauty blender in an actual condomtoimprove coverage.
In an interview with Allure, a blogger calledEsther Gbudje insisted the egg really does work: "The egg did give me the flawless look I was going for, and it doesn't absorb any product at all. After each application, I cleaned the egg with wipes before applying another product on my face, so I would say it worked for me."
Well, we'd be lying if we said we wern't preparedto give this a chance.
