Kylie Jenner Doesn't Contour Her Ears, Actually
When it comes to beauty,it seems fair to say that Kylie Jenner is pretty experimental with her look and is more than happy to pioneer a new trend or two.
But it turns out that contouring your ears - yes, yourEARS - is a bit much even for KJ and after some people got the wrong end of the stick about her beauty regime, she's taken to Twitter to ask everyone to calm things down a bit.
To be quite honest,we have enough trouble remembering to apply eyeliner, let alone think about how sculpted our ears are looking on a daily basis, so it's reassuring to hear that even Kylie thinks ear contouring might just be a little too much.
That said she does put some makeup on them andthe slight confusion over this one came about after Kylie posted a new tutorial on her app. Hosted by Kardashian makeup artist Hrush Achemyan, the video sees her and Kylie talking all things contouring.
Explaining that's she's into a slightly less hardcore contour these days, Kylie also mentioned that she likes it when Hrush puts makeup on her ears as a sidenote.
Because they were discussing contouring, some people seem to have interpreted this as Kylie saying she contours her ears, but what she really meant was that she simply likes to dust her ears with a bit of powder and foundation so that when photos are taken of her on the red carpet, the pics don't come out looking like her face, neck and ears are all different colours.
"It's a really good tip that a lot of people don't do because it's really not cute when you're on the red carpet, or you get snapped and then your face is one colour, and the ears are different," she explains in the video.
"It shows the tone is not really your skin tone and you have on a lot of foundation. Just like your neck, your ears are a part of your face."
Sounds pretty logical to us, but just in case you were still confused, Kylie's had the final word to set things straight over on Twitter.
So in conclusion, keep the contouring products for your cheekbones and maybe let your ears do their own thing, K?
