Ariana Grande’s Manager Defends Pete Davidson After Fans Slam His Instagram Return
Ariana Grande’s manager has stepped in to defend Pete Davidson after fans reacted badly to his Instagram return.
The 24-year-old has taken some time away from the social-media platform at the height of their relationship but is now back again in order to promote his upcoming film, Big Time Adolescence.
The snap was captioned: “See you at Sundance muthf**kas #bigtimeadolescence.”
It didn’t take long for people to start trolling his comeback, with a portion of Arianators leaving specific lyrics from ‘Thank U, Next’ beneath the shot, while others were even more brutal.
When one person commented: “Ur cancelled tysm for breaking with Ariana bc she’s doing much better BYE,” Scooter Braun decided that enough was enough and stepped in to defend the comedian.
“Stop the bullsh*t. It is nothing like that and Pete is a good dude. No one has hate for this guy and he is a stand up guy. Show respect because trust me everyone on this side knows he deserves it and wishes him well.”
While there were definitely more than a few fans with something negative to say, the responses weren’t always cruel. One fan wrote: “For everyone who comments thank you, next. Leave. Thanks,” as another said: “Good to see you’re living your best life pete! Love u.”
Ariana and Pete enjoyed a three month whirlwind romance that saw them becoming engaged just weeks into their relationship. The pair called it quits in October and have since announced that they only want the best for each other.
