The car crash comes one week after they announced their split.

It seems that Ariana Grande is reaching out to her ex Mac Miller after he was reportedly arrested for drunk driving in San Fernando Valley, LA on Thursday morning.

The 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer took to Twitter to write "pls take care of yourself" after the rapper struck a pole with his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon before fleeing the scene.

People is reporting that Mac was arrested at his home for "driving under the influence and hit and run" after law enforcement officers matched the number plates to his address.

A Los Angeles Police Department public information officer told the publication that Mac was held on $15,000 bail prior to his release on Thursday morning, and he is due to appear in court on June 7.

The incident comes just one week after Ariana confirmed her split from Mac on Instagram, writing: "Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick.

"I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"

She continued: "Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you.I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!"

While Ari hasn't mentioned Mac since the incident, the timing of her tweet suggests it could be reaching out to him.
