Ariana Grande Films Proper 'Breathin' Video "Just In Time" For New Album Release
Ariana Grande is a girl who moves at her own pace.
This we already know, from many things, although we're still trying to process the fact that her fourth album'sweetener'has been out for less than three months and she's about to drop its follow-up.
If you've missed this - easy done - then let us catch you up: Ariana has recorded her fifth studio album in the past two months during her time out of the spotlight, which she spent mainly in the studio, and she wants to release it ASAP.
While she's planning the launch of AG5 - not the official title (yet) - the rest of the world is stuck on 'Breathin', the album's third single - which she has now confirmed will be the final single, too.
A few weeks ago she released a one-take music video of her beloved micro pig, aptlynamed Piggy Smallz, which left some fans a'tiny'bit underwhelmed.
Although, the era will not end this way because Ariana has indeed filmed a more expected music video - a.k.a one starring her (we think) - this week.
The pop superstar has reunited with her former go-to directorHannah Lux Davis for this one, after teaming up with Dave Meyers for all three other'sweetener'visuals ('No Tears Left to Cry' and 'God Is A Woman', notably).
Davis and Ariana have worked together many times before, including for the 'Side to Side' and 'Into You' music videos from the'Dangerous Woman'era.
The 'everytime' singer captioned a photo from the set "and just in time to move onto the next one ...... thank u," confirming that this will close out the'sweetener'era, which has been unpredictable to say the very least.
Ariana's long-awaited hour-long BBC special finally aired last night, showing her performing a lengthy set backed by an all-female orchestra and having a very frank chat with Davina McCall about her anxiety, the Manchester attack and more.
Her stunning performance of 'Breathin' from the one-off show was just incredible, and will be sure to send it to the top ends of the UK Singles Chart even before its video comes.
Hopefully we won't need to wait too long to see the video! And - hopefully, too - we'll still get to hear our'sweetener'faves on tour some time soon...
