Ariana Grande Drags Piers Morgan For Criticising Little Mix

Thank U, Next, Piers.

Being the undisputable queen that Ariana Grande is, she’s clapped back at Piers Morgan for his recent comments about Little Mix supposedly 'using their sexuality' to 'bolster' their single sales.

After Little Mix dropped a teaser picture for their new single 'Strip' in which they bared all with insults written over their bodies, Piers took to Good Morning Britain to claim the photogragh isn't a form of empowerment. “It's nonsense. It's just stripping off to sell records. It's actually using sex and sexuality to sell records. That's it. There's nothing else to this,” he said.

Fans were quick to defend Little Mix, with some arguing that this misses the point:women showing their bodies shouldn't have to be inherently sexualised, after all.

Ariana isn't the first Grande to drag the presenter for his misogynistic viewpoint on this either, with Ariana's mum Joan Grande tweetingPiers, saying: “Didn’t your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it!”

And Ariana was quick to back up Joan after Piers tweeted her back, saying: “Hi Joan, my mother taught me to speak my mind & never be afraid to express honestly held opinion.”

The 'God Is A Woman' singerwent on to quote Piers’s tweet, adding: “Ellen is an incredible & kind human being. I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified [sic].

“We will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next [sic].” Ari added, managing to stay extremely polite yet savage af.

But don’t you worry, because it just gets better, as Ari then went on to tweet more, saying: “Also @piersmorgan, i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do. [sic]

“I think that’ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what’s left of it,” she added.

The best part comes next thoughas Ari retweeted a column produced by Piers in which he poses semi-nude, calling himself a “masculine man.”

We’ve heard of being put in your placebut this is a whole other level. Protect Ariana at all costs because we sure as hell need her.
