Ariana Grande Dedicates 'Sweetener' Track To Pete Davidson

This is too cute.

In perhaps the cutest thing that’s happened this year, Ariana Grande has dedicated a track on her brand new album 'Sweetener' to her fiancé Pete Davidson.

Today (17th August) Grande unleashed her highly anticipated fourth studio album, featuring the previously released ‘no tears left to cry’, ‘the light is coming’ and ‘God is a woman’ as well as previously unheard collabs from Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams.

On a quick scan of the track list though, the penultimate entry leaps off the screen - an interlude entitled ‘pete davison’…

'CATCH UP WITH THE 'SWEETENER' MUSIC VIDEOS SO FAR:'

In the one minute and 14 second long interlude, Grande sings: “Universe must have my back/Fell from the sky into my lap/And I know you know/That you’re my soulmate and all that”

Sweetener indeed.

The singer and SNL star started dating earlier this year and announced their engagement not long after.

In an interview with 'GQ' this week, Davidson revealed he asked Grande to marry him they day they met. "The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow,'...She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, 'Do you like any of these?' She was like, 'Those are my favorite ones,' and I was like, 'Sick.' "

Elsewhere on the album, Grande’s first body of new music since the Manchester Arena bombing, fans have been quick to notice 40 seconds of silence left at the end of the album’s final track ‘get well soon’. The silence takes the total running time of the track to 5 minutes and 22 seconds, or 5:22, an understated but beautiful reference in remembranceof the date of the concert - May 22nd 2017.
