Professional bicycle ridersAriana Grande and Nicki Minaj have reunited in the recording studio this past weekend to give 2018 the collaboration it deserves.

After many rumours that the longtime friends will feature on each other's new albums this year, they essentially broadcastedtheir studio session as it was going on and now the whole world is freaking out.

It all started when Ariana posted a video to herInstagram Stories of an early morningstudio visit(6.29AM - what?!)withthe 'Chun Li' rapper tagged, however they later confirmed what went down.

On Saturday (May 12) the pair started tweeting about their mutual affection, to which Ariana took things up a notch and told everyone a story from that morning.

"Remember when u called me at 5am and said get ur ass up n come to the stu[dio] btch and i propelled myself out the door at the speed of light wearing slippers that later got soaked in rain and we had the best morning of my life," she said.

The hilarious recap was quickly confirmed as all too real when Nicki replied "I do. I do," the moment that sent everyone into a frenzy.

While they haven't said anything more of the new collaboration, it could come as soon as June as that is when Nicki's fourth album'Queen'arrives, while Ariana's fourth LP'Sweetener'is said to drop in July or August.

The A-list duo first worked together on the massive 'Bang Bang' with Jessie J in 2014 and thenwent on to record the sublime 'Get On Your Knees' and, of course, 'Side To Side'.

The combination of Nicki's world-class rap skills and Ariana's other-worldly vocals results in magic every time, and their genuine friendship only helps elevate the music to even greater heights, so we cannot'wait'to hear this next one.
