American McGee, creator of the fabulously creepy Alice video games, has finally said what all fans were hoping for - he’s ready to make the third instalment of the Alice series.

The last Alice game, Madness Returns, released way back in 2009, couples super tricky gameplay with a wonderfully creepy, dark story, cool graphics, and a great soundtrack.

“Want a new Alice game?” McGee teased on Twitter. “I'm starting work on a proposal - come along for the adventure and lend your support!”

McGee recently launched his successful Out of the Woods Kickstarter campaign to fund a table-top card game, illustrated book, coluoring book and collection of art prints inspired by ten classic fairy tales. Seems now he’s ready to move onto planning his next project, revealing that the name for the next Alice game is tentatively Alice: Asylum, and confirming he’s already pulled together proposal artwork, a design outline, and financial/business model to give to publisher Electronic Arts… who also happen to own all the rights to Alice games.
